Trusting Your Employer in Your Workers Compensation Case

Q: I’ve been hurt at work and now I have a workers compensation claim filed with my employer. Should I trust my employer to do the right thing and compensate me fairly?

A: Workers Compensation cases are such that people want to trust their employer and trust that their employer is going to do exactly what they should do. But what they fail to understand sometimes is that their employer often times has very little control over how the workers’ compensation process works.

Once the worker is injured, you become a number to the insurance carrier and the insurance carrier calls the shots.

His experience has allowed him to become very familiar with the coal mining industry.  He understands coal mine work and is knowledgeable about the injuries that coal miners have sustained over the years that he has been practicing.
